Kaplan Turbine:
It is widely used in hydro power stations with the head of 6--30 meters
It is suitable for hydro power resource of low water head and high flow, there are two types: fixed blade
and adjustable blade type. The fixed blade type is suitable for hydropower station with small capacity, the range is between 70
to percent, the adjustable blade type is larger with range between 30 to 100 percent.
We have the ability to produce all kinds of units with 3m in the dia of runner and 3MW in capacity.
Kaplan turbine has the structure of blade rotation inside, compared with the fixed blade propeller turbines,
the blade of it can rotate. According to the different kinds of loads and water flows,
the blades and guide vanes coordinate and cooperate with each other and form a certain association league
relationship to realize the double adjustment of blades and guide vanes, and to obtain higher hydraulic
efficiency and stable operation, and expand the scope of operation efficiency. Therefore, it is suitable for
water flow changing greatly, especially for power station with the output changes greatly. It is
applicable for the hydraulic head range of 3-700 m and widely used for the power with low water flow and of great capacity.
