Frequency sensitive rheostat in motor starting

The rotor circuit connect parallel resistor and frequency sensitive rheostat . When starting, the frequency sensitive rheostat reactance follow the circuit frequency vary. On high frequency , reactance is high , most current flow by resistor , and speed rise , reactance induce , most current flow by frequency sensitive rheostat. Now cut off the resistor . if the parameter match well , the motor can output constant torque.
